/A superb speaker and teacher, Mr. Tuckett has published, in addition to his psychoanalytic articles, copious analytically informed studies on medical sociology and economics. Perhaps his most enduring legacy will be his contribution to the creation of a framework for a more objective assessment of psychoanalytic competence and clinical evaluation of different clinical models.
His numerous contributions also include his long service as editor and developer of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis and his role as an original director of PEP (Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing) which makes the extensive psychoanalytic literature available electronically to scholars and working analysts.
