Nominate or Apply in 2021
Applications for The Sigourney Award-2021 will be accepted beginning March 1, 2021 for work completed between 2010 and 2020. Past winners are not eligible to submit work, however previous nominees or applicants are welcome to apply again.
We welcome nominations or applications featuring groundbreaking psychoanalytic work from around the world in any language supported by Google Translate. Evaluation of submissions will be conducted in English leveraging Google Translate.

Nominators
When applications re-open, click the "Nominate" button on this page to login, complete the nomination form, and upload a letter of nomination. Once you click submit, the nominee will receive an email with a link requesting that they complete the application. Self-nominators apply directly using the "Apply" button.
Please note, we accept only two letters of nomination and/or recommendation.
Nominees
All nominees must complete an application, whether they are self-nominated or nominated by a third party. The application includes writing prompts to assist Nominees in highlighting their work's impact and enables an equitable evaluation of applications. The application will allow nominees to save drafts and return to the application multiple times before submitting. Work submitted must have been completed during the ten years prior to the award year.
All Nominees will need to provide:
Name, email, address, phone
Answers to a series of questions designed to help nominees articulate the impact of their work over the past ten years
A 180 word summary of work
A single sentence statement describing the impact of the work
A total of 2 letters of support, which may consist of:
2 letters of nomination or
1 letter of nomination & 1 letter of recommendation or
2 letters of recommendations
·Two Professional Reference Contacts
Curriculum Vitae (outlining the past ten years)
Photo or Logo
(minimum of 1200x1200 pixels for use only in promoting Award Recipients)
Optional
External validation such as press or video coverage
Sample of work such as an article you have written–a play, a book, significant paper, video, etc.
All submitted materials will become the property of The Sigourney Trust.
